Tworzenie to pewne zagubienie się w sobie. Specjalne, celowe zabłądzenie w celu odnalezienia siebie na nowo, jako wolnej, niezależnej jednostki. Mimo, że tworzy się samemu, nie ma w tym procesie poczucia samotności czy izolacji. To połączenie z całym światem, gigantycznym uniwersum, w którym wszystkie elementy idealnie do siebie pasują.
Każdy, kto zrozumie, że to proces jest istotą twórczości, a dzieło to jedynie efekt, będzie mógł zanurzyć się w przyjemnej toni bez stresu i presji, którą znają początkujący artyści. Dzieło nie może być celem. Do momentu zakończenia procesu trzeba być możliwie wolnym od oczekiwań. To odkrycie było najbardziej uwalniające na mojej drodze twórczej. Mając zbyt dobrze skonstruowany plan, zbyt wyraźny cel, zawsze na końcu poczujemy rozczarowanie. To tak, jakby sabotować cały proces, który z założenia ma być piękny i przyjemny. Oczywiście tworzenie jest niekiedy frustrujące i budzące niechciane emocje, ale gdy pominiemy oczekiwania i skupimy się na samym działaniu, o wiele łatwiej jest nam przejść przez te etapy procesu, które sprawiają trudności.
Wydaje mi się, że po przejściu tego momentu, w którym zespalamy się z własną twórczością i odnajdujemy w niej sens życia, nie można już przestać myśleć o sztuce. Staje się ona elementem stałym wszystkich działań i przemyśleń. Każdy temat musi choćby dotknąć wątku sztuki, skonfrontować się z nim, przejść przez jego pryzmat. Zaobserwowane zjawiska, ludzie, głosy, zapachy – wszystko przechodzi przez umysł i analizowane jest w kontekście sztuki. Każdy element świata, myśl, idea, każdy impuls zmysłowy może przysłużyć się procesowi tworzenia, więc należy go odebrać i przetworzyć. To jest jak reakcja łańcuchowa, której nie da się zatrzymać. Proces tworzenia i życie stają się jednym.

To create is to lose oneself in a certain way. A special, deliberate straying in order to find oneself again as a free, independent individual. Although the artist creates alone, there is no sensation of loneliness or isolation. It is a connection to the whole world, a gigantic universe in which all the elements fit together perfectly.
Those who understand that the process is the essence of creativity, and that the work is merely the result, will be able to immerse themselves in a pleasurable depth without the stress and pressure that budding artists are familiar with. The work of art must not be the end in itself. You have to be as free of expectations as possible until the process is complete. This discovery has been the most liberating part of my creative journey. If we have a plan that is too carefully worked out, a goal that is too clear, we will always feel disappointed in the end. It’s like sabotaging the whole process, which is supposed to be beautiful and enjoyable. Certainly, creating is sometimes frustrating and evokes unwanted emotions. Yet, if we put expectations aside and focus on the action itself, we find it much easier to overcome the challenges along the way.
It seems to me that once you have passed the moment of becoming one with your art and finding the meaning of life in it, you cannot stop thinking about art. It becomes a constant element in all activities and reflections. Every subject must at least touch the subject of art, confront it, pass through its prism. The phenomena observed, the people, the voices, the smells – everything passes through the mind and gets analysed in the context of art. Every element of the world, every thought, every idea, every sensory impulse can be useful in the creative process, so it must be absorbed and processed. It is like a chain reaction that cannot be stopped. The process of creation and life become one.
