„Sweet Dreams”
Każda miniatura składa się z 25 malutkich rysunków o wymiarach 2×2 cm wykonanych w technice mieszanej – tusz akrylowy, żelopisy, markery na papierze akwarelowym. Rysunki ułożone są w kwadrat 10×10 cm zamknięty w passe partout o wymiarach 20x20cm.
Realizacje mogą być prezentowane w różnych konfiguracjach. Preferowaną formą ekspozycji jest układ kwadratowy złożony z 25 wybranych miniatur, zawieszonych w równych, 5-centymetrowych odstępach. Całkowite wymiary instalacji rysunkowej wynoszą wtedy 120 × 120 cm.
Taki sposób prezentacji wzmacnia koncepcję multiplikacji zawartą w jednej miniaturze. Szerokość odstępów między pracami, odpowiadająca szerokości passe-partout, wprowadza dodatkową rytmiczność do kompozycji. Układ 25 elementów w siatce 5 × 5 powtarza się zarówno w całej instalacji, jak i wewnątrz poszczególnych miniatur, co sprawia, że z pewnej odległości poszczególne prace wydają się niemal identyczne. Pojawia się efekt „lustra w lustrze”, w którym całość jawi się jako wielokrotne odbicie jednego elementu.
Dopiero podchodząc bliżej, widz może dostrzec, że każda z prac z cyklu Sweet Dreams jest inna. Malutkie rysunki (2 × 2 cm) – będące częścią miniatury – stanowią unikalną, skończoną kompozycję, która może funkcjonować jako samodzielne dzieło plastyczne.
Cykl skłania do zastanowienia się nad indywidualnością i powszechnością . Czy jesteśmy w stanie zaobserwować moment, w którym jednostkowość zanika, a unikatowa forma staje się tylko anonimowym komponentem większej całości?
Each miniature consists of 25 tiny drawings, each measuring 2 × 2 cm, executed in mixed media: acrylic ink, gel pens, and markers on watercolor paper. The drawings are arranged in a 10 × 10 cm square, mounted within a 20 × 20 cm passe-partout.
The works can be displayed in various configurations, although the preferred form of presentation is a square arrangement composed of 25 selected miniatures, hung at equal intervals of 5 cm. The overall dimensions of the drawing installation in this setup are 120 × 120 cm.
This mode of presentation reinforces the concept of multiplication already embedded within a single miniature. The spacing between the works—matching the width of the passe-partout—introduces an additional rhythm to the composition. The 5 × 5 grid structure is repeated both across the entire installation and within each individual miniature, making the pieces appear nearly identical when viewed from a distance. This creates a „mirror within a mirror” effect, in which the whole appears as a multiplication of a single element.
Only upon closer inspection can the viewer see that each work in the Sweet Dreams series is different. The tiny drawings (2 x 2 cm)—part of a miniature—constitute a unique, finished composition that can function as a standalone work of art.
The series invites reflection on individuality and universality. Can we perceive the moment when singularity fades, and a unique form becomes just an anonymous component of a larger whole?
Praca Sweet Dreams 2 prezentowana była podczas wielu wystaw w ramach Międzynarodowego Biennale Miniatury organizowanego przez Ośrodek Promocji Kultury „Gaude Mater” w Częstochowie.
Sweet Dreams 4-12 wystawiane były podczas 48 Interdyscyplinarnego Konkursu Plastycznego Województwa Świętokrzyskiego PRZEDWIOŚNIE w Biurze Wystaw Artystycznych w Kielcach.
The work „Sweet Dreams 2” was presented in numerous exhibitions as part of the International Miniature Biennial organized by the „Gaude Mater” Cultural Promotion Center in Częstochowa.
Sweet Dreams 4-12 were exhibited during the 48th Interdisciplinary Art Competition of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship PRZEDWIOŚNIE at the Art Exhibition Office (BWA) in Kielce.
